Services

Chinese acupuncture is part of an ancient, integrated system of healthcare that dates back 5,000 years. This system includes a number of services that help us attack the cause of your problem and improve the effectiveness of acupuncture. We use acupuncture to treat dozens of conditions, but we also recommend acupuncture as part of an ongoing wellness program to proactively prevent pain and disease.

Chinese Acupuncture

Acupuncture is based on the premise that energy, or chi, flows through meridians, or pathways, in the human body. When energy flow is weakened or blocked, the body’s energy becomes imbalanced, which causes pain, discomfort, stress and illness. Acupuncture stimulates and controls the flow of energy to restore and maintain balance in the body.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Hundreds of natural herbs interact with the body in different ways. We can safely prescribe these herbs, individually or in combination, to treat a wide range of diseases and disorders, boost the immune system, and maintain good health.

Nutrition Consultation

Different foods have different tastes – spicy, sour, bitter, sweet, salty and even bland. These different types of foods have different energy properties. The right combination of foods served in the proper proportions is essential to restoring and maintaining balance. This is especially important for anyone suffering from a chronic illness.

Women’s Health / Fertility

Our practitioners create customized treatment plans for women’s health (menstrual disorders, endometriosis, fibroids, peri- and post-menopausal symptoms, etc.) and fertility support (improving reproductive health, balance hormones and support conception). In addition, we can help prepare patients for IVF/ IUI treatments or support after failed cycles.

Head Acupuncture

Head acupuncture, or scalp acupuncture, is a specialized acupuncture technique, which treats neurological, musculoskeletal, and chronic pain conditions like stroke sequelae, headaches, and anxiety, integrating traditional acupuncture with modern brain anatomy to influence the nervous system, often providing rapid relief by boosting blood flow and harmonizing brain function.

Cupping

Cupping is an ancient alternative therapy that uses suction cups placed on the skin to create a vacuum, which can increase blood flow, relieve muscle tension, and promote healing for pain, inflammation, and other issues.

Electro-Stimulation

Electro stimulation (e-stim) uses electrical impulses to contract muscles for pain relief, rehabilitation, and strength training, working non-invasively by sending currents through electrodes to stimulate nerves and muscles, helping with recovery, function, and muscle toning.
